Hidden Gems 2

My goal is to bring attention to restaurants or places that I feel are noteworthy. All my meals are paid for by myself, tip included. Every once in a while, I will modify my travel plans just to see if a place’s reputation is deserved. I traveled nearly 6 hours out of my way to stop at Oklahoma Joe’s barbecue restaurant. Oklahoma Joe’s has possibly won more barbecue awards than any other restaurant. I had to see if it was for real. If you’re near Broken Arrow, Oklahoma this is a must stop. Kelsey, the manager, was super informative and you can tell the whole staff lives and breathes barbecue.

This is Kursten with my meal.

The meat flaked off the bone and every bite exploded with flavor. I could go on and on about the food but you’d just be frustrated that you’re not there. I’ll just say, if you’re near Oklahoma, Oklahoma Joe’s is worth a visit

This is the first time I’ve ever reviewed a trailer park. The name is Jude Travel Park and it’s in New Orleans. Marla and Kevin Hubble run the park; it’s their home with RV sites behind them, and that is the way it feels.

Marla and Kevin will help you back-up into your site, explain the facility and its amenities, and you will feel right at home. It’s less than 10 minutes from the French quarters. It goes without saying, dining there is off the hook.
